Odds would be low that you are pregnant if you have been taking birth control pills for awhile, even being a few hours late with one. However, even the pill is not 100% effective. As tickle said, if you have a blood test done at the doctors, it will be able to pick up a pregnancy sooner than a urine test. Many of the home pregnancy tests will be just as sensitive as the urine test you might get at your doctor's.

There is very little chance that you could be pregnant, taking the pill only a few hours late, will have little effect.
