Wall outlets in some rooms not working after storm.
After storm, some wall outlets in rooms in front of house stopped working. Ceiling lights work. Lamps plugged into wall, flicker on/off, radio won't work. Have older house with screw-in fuses. Have checked all fuses, including large ones in main. What's the prbolem?

Sounds more like a loose wire but could have had a wire burned off. Any GFCI's. Need to check AC at the outlets before and after the ones not working. Have a Volt Ohm Meter?

Pull outlets. If outlets wired using quick connect holes in back, move wires to screws.

Thank you for your response. Someone else suggested it may be a problem with the power company line and to ask them to come out and check lines. There was a problem. They fixed it. Everything's working now.
