My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex last March 20 which is after my period, my last period was March 11 . I was expecting to have my menstruation last April 10 and until now it hasn't come. I have my monthly period regularly but has an irregular cycle, I had 28, 25, 27 30 but it's just now that I had experienced 35 day cycle my 35th day will be tomorrow. I don't have any pregnancy symptoms. I had taken 2 pregnancy tests and it says negative. Am I pregnant? I hope not.

    Hi noreen123,

Since you have a history of slightly irregular cycles, it most likely is due to that. Wait another week and see if your period is just late... which can happen at times. If still no period, try another pregnancy test, making sure to follow the directions carefully. Obviously if you are not pregnant, and are not wanting to be, consider using a reliable form of birth control every time that you have sex to lessen the chances.

4 days late is too early. The accuracy of most Home pregnancy tests is less than 50% in the first week after your due date. So you need to wait at least another week.

If you don't want to be pregnant then stop taking risks.

A agree wiuth Scott... 4 days late is barely late at all... and it would be a surprise if you actually got a positive result that early... before 2 weeks late the rate of false negatives is very high. Also keep in mind... not all women who really are pregnant will test positive by the second week... a few might make it several months before they do.
