    Puppies visiting parents
We are friends with the people from whom we got our pup... is it a good idea to take him when visiting or can upset the mother/pup doing this?

No problem. He needs continuing contact with known to be healthy dogs. Shots leave a window where the puppy can still get infected. If they still have some liter mates around, better yet. We are close friends with people that keep breeding stock. The 2 puppies we got from them had many visits with their mothers their first year. We puppy sat Zeke's mother over Thanksgiving. Here is a picture of him, his mother, and their half sister, the yellow Lab.

Wag, I ditto labman's response. It actually is an excellent thing to do for your pup both mentally and socially. It is great that you have this opportunity to do so.

    Labman, love the pic!

Wonderful... hoping this would be the case :) They have kept one pup, the first born, our boy was last out! It will be nice to have a "reunion" :)
