Right to Personal Property
My five year relationship just ended and we were not married. My ex-partner had the house prior to us meeting and the house is in his name only. While living there I installed a salt water swimming pool for us. The loan for the swimming pool is solely in my name since I made considerably more money and have a much better credit rating. There is still $10,000 of the $30,000 loan balance remaining. Do I have any legal recourse? As it stands, I will be paying $400 a month for the next 2 years for a swimming pool at my ex-partner's house. Thanks for any insight...
