We just moved into a home with a boiler system for heat. I know nothing about them. In the evenings I am noticing we have no hot water even though we haven't used hot water for any other appliances. In the mornings, we have no issues. Also our home is still being heated. We live in central Michigan if that helps.

We need to know the name brand on the boiler (burnham, peerless, weil-mclain, buderus, etc.), we need to know if this is a steam or a forced hot water boiler, we need to know if this is a gas boiler or an oil-fired boiler, we need to know if a tankless coil inside the boiler heats your hot water or if there is an exterior storage tank that is heated using the boiler water, and it would be helpful to know how old the system is, OK?
