A few weeks ago I had my period but stopped it early with my birth control pills because I found out my boyfriend was coming to stay and I hardly see him. It says on the pill packet I'm not protected till 7 days after taking my pills.
Lately I've been feeling achy, emotional and had some pains in my lower stomach, could I be pregnant ?

You really aren't protected until you've been on the pills for a full 30 days... none of them are intended to be taken when you feel like it.

While none of the things you are experiencing are unique to pregnancy.. the fact you took your pills so haphazardly means the likely hood is not only there but its good.

No form of birth control is 100% effective... but if they are not used in the correct manner... they can be essentially as low as zero percent effective.

I agree with Smoothy. BCP are only their most effective if taken properly, according to the directions provided.

My personal guess based on the partial timeline you provided, is that you were not ovulating at the time you saw your boyfriend, and the symptoms you described aren't exclusive to pregnancy, so you probably don't have anything to worry about.

Wait at least 2 weeks to test, unless your period comes before then.
