HI, I had sex on a Monday evening, I then took my pill as normal on the Tuesday morning. But then on Friday I realised I hadn't taken Wednesday or Thursdays pills. So on the Friday I took all 3 pills to catch up. It's 2 weeks away until I am due a period but I would like some initial responses as I'm extremely worried I may be pregnant. I have been searching for early symptoms and I have been wee'ing more than usual. It's probably me just worrying but can anyone shed some light on if there's a chance I may be pregnant?

Sure there is a chance... the pill isn't 100% effective when you take them every day on time... the fact you haven't numerous times significantly reduced that effectiveness.

You are going to have to wait until you are at least 2 weeks late for your next period before you can take a HPT to find out... its far too soon now.


SInce its not common knowledge based on many questions at this site.

A HPT absolutely MUST be taken right after you wake up in the AM... it must be taken the first time you pee that morning... and you must read the results ONLY in the time window specified on the package (not hours later). Or you must wait until the next day.
