I want to fill my Kerig coffee maker tank with the cold filtered water from my undersink filter. It seems that if my cold water filter line was connected to something like a pull-out sprayer, then I could have both filtered water at the sink and a way to fill up the Kerig tank. Of course no-one makes a cold water only faucet with a pull out. So, could I plumb the cold water filter line to the side sprayer of a regular faucet and use the sprayer on/off? Any other brilliant ideas?

As long as you can find the proper transition fittings I see no reason you cannot do what you propose...;)

Any local plumbing store should have the necessary transition fittings...
