    Cartridge removal
I broke the bottom half of the cartridge when trying to remove it and it is still in faucet handle. How can it be removed without taking the whole faucet out?

    Hi Halpful

Try using a pair of needlenose pliers....

You might also be able to take a Philips head screw and screw it into the plastic of the broken cartridge and then try pulling up on the screw.

Another tool you could make would be to take a metal coat hanger, cut and shape the end into a hook or pick shape and see if you can hook the broken part that way.

If those ideas fail pop back and we'll see if we can come up with any other ideas, OK?

    Good luck!

That's just about impossible to dowith the cartridge still inside the faucet. Do you mean you've pulled the stem out?

I might be able to help if I knew the brand name of the faucet. Back to you, Tom
