Okay, so I have been on the pill for over a year now and have always had regular periods on it. But now a week and 2 days before my period is supposed to start, I feel like I'm getting cramps and my breasts are a little tender. I always take my pills at the same time every day and have not missed any pills this month. What could be the cause of this? Thank you!

PMS. Honestly that is probably what is going on. Why is this happening? I couldn't say. Have you been sick or had a more stressful than normal month? Have you had any major dietary changes? There are many things that can muck around with your hormones, stress is a big one, and it will reflect in how you feel.

Sounds completely normal for most woment I know. Its hormone related. Most women go through this... if they are on birth control or not.
