We have continually had trouble starting our homelite gas trimmer and finally it will not start not matter what changes we make in the settings'

Can I get an answer to the question of the Homelite trimmer not starting after less than a year's worth of service? I've dumped the fuel, tried the conventional starting method, refueled and nothing seems to work.

Well if you have the homelight trimlight there is a black plate on the back with 4screws the one holding the tank pull it off and old gas and oil will come out. Close it up and prime3 times and she should start. Also check the spark plug
