Is there anyway to fight a DISA decision
I need help understanding the whole DISA thing. My son failed a drug test, showed THC. The level was over 700. He knows he gets drug tested and loved his job so we knew something was not right. We retraced his past week to see if there was anywhere he was at that he ate anything besides a restaurant. Cake at a birthday party. Called the person and they told him it had THC oil in it... not weed. Anyhow lost his job and had to go through DISA to for a rehire. He went through Quest and paid the $500 for the class. Everyone says it is weeks long but this one was only a day. There was no pre drug test or no post drug test. We drug tested at home almost every week. He went to take his drug test to go back to work and was still at a 30 and is not allowed back for 3 years. Just wondering if that seems right. What I don't understand is you can't work in a refinery for 3 years because you tested at a 30 and you have to be below 10... but yet people work there that have been in jail for drugs and worse. How is that right??

Yeh, they MIGHT have done time in jail for drugs and stuff once... but the key thing now is they are clean now... and have tested clean or they wouldn't be there either now.

A dirty test is a dirty test... people have and do lie all the time about their own use... so they accept no excuses from anyone as an excuse. Because the only thing that's beyond refute is the test result.

Refineries are exceptionally dangerous places to be where one person can make a mistake that affects many other peoples lives... and everyone's livelihood. That's why they take it this serious.

THis is one of those times that proves you need to be careful of the people you hang around with.

    THC oil on a cake?

There aren't many things that I know of that you can do to get 2 positives in a row for THC unless you are actually doing something that you shouldn't be doing...or hanging around with people that are doing it.
