Look at the difference between each successive pair - do you see a pattern?

Divide the given sequence into two sequences such as 1,3,5 terms are 1st sequence and the one is 2,4,6 terms

Now the 1st sequence is 100, 104, 120, x...

2nd sequence is 96, 88, 56...

100, 104, 120, x... =100, 100+4, 104 + 4^2, 120 + 4^3

So the answer is 120 + 4^3 =184
