Hello I am trying to get information on how can my fiancé request for a bond reduction. He is incarcerated in Muscogee County, Columbus,Ga. His bond as of today (4/3/14) is $53,000 and he has now been incarcerated for 5 months going on 6. Could someone please help me on this situation. I was informed that after every 90 days you are supposed to receive a bond reduction, and in this case that has not happened. At the same time, he still has not been given a court date to protest these charges. He has felony charges of theft by taking and other misdemeanor charges. Help would be gladly appreciated. Why don't you get his lawyer to do it for you, they know the system and what needs done exactly... he has a felony... and he's not representing himself I assume.
