Hi I recently had my IUD taken out. I had sex a few days after my period and since have broken out in acne, constantly feel sick and that my stomach is empty, I get very hot, and very cold and get the shakes. I also went for a few days of not being able to sleep but I feel very tired. Am I pregnant? My boyfriend pulls out just before he ejaculates. I want to be pregnant, but don't want to get my hopes up

Pregnancy is going to be one possibility, but you would have to try a pregnancy test to find out. When was your last period? Have you missed a period? Are you usually very regular with your cycle? What you have been feeling can be related to a number of things, so wait and see what happens when your next period is due. If it doesn't show up, give it several days to see if it is just late, then try a pregnancy test if need be.

On another note... does your boyfriend know that you want to be pregnant? Does he know that you had the IUD removed? Withdrawal method can be difficult to use, hence it isn't considered one of the most effective forms of birth control unless it is used consistently and correctly. Be sure that you both are on the same page in regard to a possible pregnancy.

You're going the right way to become pregnant. He should probably just finish in you, but that is between you and him.

It sounds more like an illness than pregnancy if I had to guess. Go get checked out.
