    120v water heater on 240v circuit
    We have a 120v water heater on a 240v circuit with a 30 amp breaker. Breaker cuts out in 3 or 4 minutes.

    How was the 120 heater wired to a 240 circuit? What color wires went where? Have you tested the amp load? How to check the amps being drawn from a breaker - YouTube
