    Losing feeling in foot
Hi all just a quick question... recently I had something heavy fall on my foot my foot is now swollen black and blue supposably not broken so the doctor says but my partner who used to be a nurse says its def broken X-rays sometimes don't show the breaks straight after the accident happened... however I can't move my toes and now I'm starting to lose sensation in my foot from time to time and or really bad pins and needles when I can feel my foot.
Has anyone been in this situation before?
What can it be? I explained this to my doctor he laughed at me... he was hopeless... I'm in serious pain and Icing doesn't help or elevating I'm foots always swollen and when I ice it I want to cry.

Go to the ER for a proper x-ray and exam.

Yes, this happened to me about 35 years ago. Tiny fracture along edge of foot, but it didn't change anything. Keep your foot elevated at home and use crutches. As your bruising goes down there will be less pressure on nerves.
