    Washer spins, but won't agitate
Kenmore stack-able washer dryer Model# 417.98702891, Serial # XE04403668 (yr 10/2000) Unit was moved from one house to another. It worked fine before the move, but now spins, but will not agitate. (This is a second post, as the first time I posted in the wrong category.)

You pulled a wire lose, more than likely to the solenoids. Look here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8010163/Understanding%20automatic%20washer.pdf

It should not be too hard to fix. Read the first manual carefully and you will be able to repair any kind of washing machine, and you will learn how to fix other things, as well. The secret is learning how to use a digital multimeter. Today these meters are super easy to use and will tell you what is wrong with just about any electrical part or circuit in appliances, you home AC unit, and much more.
