Good Morning ,
I have a guy here at work and he is on blood thinners.. How much ibuprophen can he take in one day before or/if it will hurt him? There has been one guy tell him as much as he wants and another one say no there is a limit.. Please help me help him :-)

The fact that he is on blood thinners is cause for him to discuss this with his medical practitioner. There are several different kind of blood thinners and each one works differently.

He needs to stop listening to anything the guy says that told him he can take as much as he wants... of ANY pain medication. Thats extremely dangerous advice.

THey all have safe MAXIMUMS per day... assuming there aren't any contradictions with other medications... as J_9 clearly points out. When other medications are being taken... one MUST defer to the opinion of their doctor.
