    Question regarding 1040X form
    Hi

I am a non-resident alien student (on F1 visa) and mistakenly I used TurboTax to file my document last year (2012 tax). So I want to fix it and I am going to file form 1040X attached to the correct version of forms 1040NR-EZ and 8843.

My question is: Since it takes 8 to 12 weeks for form 1040X to be processed, I wonder if I can file my current year (2013) tax now? Or I should wait for the completion of the process for my amended tax return?

    Thanks in advance,

Do NOT delay your 2013 return. File that as a non-resident alien, filing Form 1040NR-EZ and 8843, plus the state return.
