My period usually lasts about a week, but now I am on day 15 of my period and it is still quite heavy. Why could this be? I started the contraceptive pill on day 1 of my cycle this month, so could that be why? Also I'm paranoid that I'm pregnant and this really isn't helping! I have had regular periods though. Any help would be appreciated.thank you!

You need to call your doctor and ask him. I'm not sure you would be pregnant, but there is always a chance. You need to also look up the medicine you are taking and see what the side affects are.
