    Tp valve or leak
    Not sure if I have a bad tp valve or leak meter runs but can't find source sounds like water passing though heater where is water going my guess is slab leak would a bad tp valve cause meter to run?

    Yup! A bad T&P valve could cause the water meter to run, for sure! Here, you should be able to feel the water flowing out the T&P valve pipe, or better yet, follow the T&P discharge pipe and find water...probably outside the home.

    Otherwise, it certainly sounds like a leaker under the slab. In cases like this you could call a leak detection company or you could figure a way to run a pipe above the slab and discontinue the defective pipe under the slab.
