Instead of monitoring water use, there has got to be a time in a 24 hour day when there is no water being used. I have a 30 unit building with periodic underslab leaks that go unnoticed until I get my next water bill. If there are times when no water is being used (say 2:00 AM), I will know I don't have a leak. I want to be alerted when there is no water flow, which is a good thing.
