I had miss carriage on 12 Feb 2014 at six/seven weeks. Bleeding for seven days and brown spotting for another seven days. Started sex after bleeding stopped but using withdrawal method. On 15th March (4 weeks later) I had white cloudy discharge which I could stretch between my fingers. It was heavy and I never had such a heavy that kind of discharge before. After that mild cramps, tender breast, extreme fatique, and milky discharge started.

I took blood test on 18th. It showed negative. Could I be pregnant? Or an infection?

We can't tell you, pregnant or infection, (if the discharge is not coloured green, orange or anything in between and does not have an odor, it is normal) because we do not diagnose here. See your doctor please, but remember pull out method doesn't work, you should know there is always sperm left behind. Anytime there is unprotected sex, there is a good chance of getting pregnant.

It could be pregnancy, infection, or perhaps a period about to start. After a miscarriage, some women will experience altered cycles at first as their hormones fall back into what will be a normal pattern for them... this can include changes in cervical mucus.

Did you have a follow-up visit with your doctor after the miscarriage? If not, that might be a good idea.

Wait several more days and see if your period resumes. If not, you could try another test at that time, if negative, wait and see what happens when you would expect your period for next month. It would not be uncommon for it to simply be that your body is still "resetting" from the miscarriage. Obviously you could always see your doctor if you still feel that you are experiencing pregnancy symptoms or have concerns.

Don't like being called 'dear' ami, my forum name may not be to your liking, but assure you my answers are qualified. If you know the pregnancy symptoms, so early, then why are you asking? After a miscarriage, hormones are all over the place delaying the cycle.

Did you visit your doctor, reporting the 'miscarriage'? There is always the possibility that not everything evacuated and you may need curetage, but like I told you, if the discharge doesn't have an odor and is clear then it is not infection.

Please see your OBYGYN for a check up.

Im really sorry, tickle. Im used to addressing new people like that. Never again :) I'm not sure about pregnancy but since the symptoms are alike I'm very much curious to know about it. After a miscarriage any.woman would crave for a baby.. I want my dream come true...
