Hi Suemc
There should be a shut off valve before the pipe enters into the bladder tank. Shut that valve and then bleed the pressure off by opening some faucets. At first, it will appear as if the water is still on, but give it a couple minutes and you should see the pressure drop off and water flow stop. You can then drain the bladder tank and replace it.
Good luck!
Mark
Barring that, just turn off the breaker, drain pressure to near zero, and disconnect tank.
LOL! Awesome answer...simplest answer is always the best answer!
Either way. I oftentimes wonder how it worked out for these folks, but it's strange that the threads just seem to go dead somewhere towards the end. That's always a little disappointing for me.
