First I think Tom Cruse plays in this one but I am not sure what I do remember is that the main charchter has a normal life. He lives with his son, wife and his father. Then one day a man tells him his whol life as he remember it is some how inplanted into him and the real memories have been erased. Apparentl the man thatewarnd him had his own memory erased and all so say that there were more of them in same troop but that they are all dead now. His father helps the main character latter.

The second movie unfortunately I know even less about. I know it can't be more then 5 or 6 years old. In that movie that takes place in the future it is possible to replace you're memories with nicer ones. The main character does that but people that done that to him all so done something else. Now he is chased by some people but he is helpd by some women. That's all I know about it I only saw the trailler for this move.

I would appriciate any help you could give me.

I remember something else at the end of the first movie the main character ends on trail with a women that helpd him as his lawyer. Main charcter pulls out the evelop in which Top secret files about his past should be in. When that happen the bad guy ask the judge to empty the cort room because it involves national security. When judge refuses to do that bad guy has no choice but to drop the charges.Envelop turns out to be a bluf.
