The fan running all the time is not a big issue, I actually set all of my stats to run 24/7, its more comfortable and efficient. Check the small switch marked AUTO/ON. In which position is it. The big concern would be if you are not getting any heat all, is that the case?

Yes no heat at all, and fan runs with thermostat disconnected, just started this. No response from unit at all

You will not likely fix this on your own unless you have sugnificant skills and test leads. Call a furnace repair person. I gave called Sears and they will sell you a maintenance deal for less than most repairs and then fix the issue. I suspect your furnace mother is shot.
