    A W2 is used to report salary and withholding paid to an employee. Did you list yourself as an employee drawing a periodic salary? If not, and you just took profits out of the business, I think you would reporting it as business profits.

    An LLC is a BUSINESS entity, not a tax entity.

    Unless it is specifically registered as a partnership or corporation, the LLC is a "disregarded entity", which means it is a sole proprietorship that submits Schedule C and SE on the owner's individual tax return.

    Hence, no W-2 is needed.
