How do I locate the alternator fusible link on a 1989 Lincoln Town Car? Is there a Lincoln automobile help desk?

Fusible links (major bulges in the wire) are usually associated with the starter motor, not the alternator. The "B" wire from the alternator often goes to a "mega fuse" (130 amp), located on the end of the under hood fuse/relay box.
