    Shingles
I am a 43 year old female. The 1st time I got shingles I was in my early 30s. I would get them, and again, and again a while later, but then the time in between the outbreaks started getting shorter and shorter. I always get them in the same place, one of my legs will feel like someone is holding a torch to it, and a couple days later, whichever leg was burning, my butt cheek on that same side breaks out, but I have been going crazy lately because before one place can dry up, I already have another place starting and now they are starting to come from my butt onto my back. I have had shingles for 7 months straight now, can you please tell me why I can't get rid of them? Thank you

Because the Chickenpox visus doesn't go away once you have it. Shingles are a result of that virus. Not everyone has that happen.

There is a medication which can reduce the symptoms... but you have to go to a doctor so it can be prescribed.

You can never get rid of Shingles, unfortunately. Many people get recurring attacks as you have.
