    What is the name of the hose that is approved by the gas company to use on gas stoves
    I have a yellow flex hose connected to my stove.The man told me it was the wrong kind.What is the right kind?

    You want a 3' yellow flex hose with flare fittings (see image)...sold at all home improvement stores. If this flexible hose looks like your flexible hose then you should be fine. If you are still in doubt then post a picture so we can tell for sure.

    DO NOT forget to install the anti.-tip device supplied with the new stove. The anti.-tip device is fast to install and it saves lives!!!

    The yellow hose is code approved for gas appliances. That said, your local permitting dept may not have accepted the code and requires solid piping.
