Who is most likely to be the father
Last period started feb 10th. I had unprotected sex with guy A on Feb 10th and took morning after pill the next morning. On feb 18th -28th had unprotected sex with guy B and on feb 27th received a positive pregnancy test. Knowing that the morning after pill works 95% if taken within 24hrs am I most likely pregnant by Guy B then Guy A?

Most likely Guy B, but Guy A can't be completely ruled out, so to know for certain, you would need to have DNA testing done.

I would put probabilities on guy B about 75%. You started your period, had sex while on your period, and then had sex with someone else throughout your cycle, the person you had sex with is most likely the father. But I can't put ANY definite answers to it. A Paternity test would need to be done to be sure.

Have you even missed your next period for two weeks yet? I think you retest and confirm pregnancy before you worry about who the daddy is.

DNA test is the only way to know for sure. The morning after pill is not 100% effective, in fact it's less effective than the birth control pill, and if I had a penny for everyone I know personally that got pregnant while properly taking the pill, I'd be very well off.

You'll need to get the DNA test done after the baby is born. No one online, no ultrasound, nothing anyone does or says, will give you a definite answer. The only way to know for sure is with a DNA test.

DNA test... if I was guy "B" and I was assumed to be the father... and it turned out I wasn't... angry would be an understatment of what would be going through my mind.

Have both guys tested... make sure they both know... As soon as a pregnancy is confirmed. Put ANY question of who is to rest. You will need it anyway if dad takes off... if you want child support.

I'm guessing you were pregnant before your story began here. Unlikely you got pregnant by the first guy in that time frame. Unlikely you could get a positive test so fast with guy B.

If your last period was Feb 10. I would say its unlikely that a test would accurately come back as positive so soon. I would wait another 2 weeks and retake a test.

Actually I messed up on my start date didn't realize it . My last period start date was feb 1st. I would like the father to be Guy B. I have not started my period yet and i took three pregnancy test which came out positive. Knowing this new info give Guy B more probability?

There is no way to know who the father is until you have a DNA test after the baby is born. Anything else is just a guess.

Can anyone answer this for me?
I calculated how many weeks pregnant I am using a online calculator and here are the results. Note: My last period was feb 1st 2014

Your due Date (EDD) : November-4-2014 . You are currently 5 weeks pregnant, March(4-10)

Im confused about the (march 4-10). What does that mean? If I'm five weeks does it mean the 4-10 will be the 5th week ,or that I had sex in feb and got pregnant? Or does that mean I had sex late jan and just had my period on feb 1st and just didn't realize I was pregnant? Or is the online calulators inaccurate? I actually went back to the website and put in the same period start date and it gave me (march 8-14th). weird. My first doctors apt is on Monday.

Online calculators aren't always that accurate. I am using the same gestational wheel your doctor would use. If your LMP was 2/1/14, then your due date would be November 8, making you 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant.

Now, that is all an estimate. All of pregnancy is a guessing game since there is no camera in the fallopian tube to know exactly when the sperm meets the egg. Wouldn't that be cool though to know exactly the moment we conceive?

    Noting your other questions... https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/search...earchid=385731

There is no way to know who the father is until and unless you have a DNA test.

Would you know if I had to have sex in feb to be 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant or before feb?

Again, remember, I am looking at the same gestational wheel your doctor would use.

    Attachment 45790

This is the exact one I am using. It shows that you most likely conceived on, or around, February 14 or 15.

But the answer still remains the same. Paternity will have to be confirmed by a DNA test.

Yes I understand that regarding the paternity. But is it possible that I could have conceived between the 14-21st or is that not possible after taking a morning after pill on feb 11th?

It is possible that you conceived between the 14th and the 21st as ovulation is different for every woman. These gestational wheels are based on a mathematical equation. Not every woman falls within the parameters of that equation and this is why paternity testing is important.

Ovulation is estimated, some women ovulate totally different, so unless you are actually tracking ovulation, you do not know.

Estimates of conception dates at the very best are give or take a week. Often even then, can be wrong longer.

So, you can look, and hope and talk, but NO, there will be no way to determine the father, until the child is born and a DNA test is done.

You can get estimates, you can get educated guess, the fact is, it is all estmates.

Sorry, but no, that increases the possibility that Guy A is the father. The sex with Guy B was late in your cycle. So with this new info it actually makes Guy A the more likely father. But there is no way to be sure until you do a test after the child is born. If I were you, I would let both know of the possibility.

I merged your two threads because they bear on the same issue.

I'm not sure how many different ways we can say this, but ANY calculation of due dates, conception dates, ovulation dates, etc. is GUESSWORK. They can be off by as much as 2 weeks. So there is no way you can be sure who is the father until a DNA test is done.
