Okay I have been friends with this guy for a while now and we have had sex and everything but he flirts with me a lot when we are alone but he doesn't want anyone to know about us and one minute I think he likes me but the other mintune I don't he calls me everyday he even textes me things like I miss you he has told me he isn't ready for a relationship but at the same time told one of my friends that if he were to have a relationship it would be with me and he is very flirty with me when we are alone and even when we are not other people see it but what should I do I don't want to show him how much I care cause I came out of a 9 year relatonship and been hurt before and he knows that?

Is it possible you are not the only one he is seeing? He says he doesn't want a relationship but sounds like that's exactly what you have... maybe he just wants to keep you hidden from someone else..

Personally I have a problem finding the positive in your post... sure he flirts with you and admitted that IF he were to have a relationship with anyone it would be with you...

But at the same time this all seems kind of hidden.. which is bad.

Does he like you? Not sure, he might, but he might not.

I will say one things though... if you are not interested in getting hurt and he is acting the way he is, I would step back a bit and evaluate the situation.
