    Rental Rights in California
I'm renting a house month-to-month (1 year past our 1 year lease) and I was just informed that I need to be out of the house in 30 days because the landlord is selling the property. Am I entitled to 60 days? There is no written contract past the lease. Thanks.

Since you have been in the house more than a year the landlord is required to give you 60 days:

A 30- or 60-day period covers tenants who are on a month-to-month lease. The landlord uses the shorter period when a tenant has stayed in the rental for under a year, and the longer period when the month-to-month tenant has lived in the home for over a year.
