I was paying the geek squad online a monthly fee and when I had a problem they went on remotely and 8 hrs later they called and said they were finished and I just needed to restart. When I did my keyboard was disabled. GS said they couldn't help I would have to take it to the GS store. So I do and they are not afflicted with the online squad. Any easy fix out there?

Seems to me your issue is with the online Geek Squad's damaging your configuration.

Since you don't give any information on the type of unit or operating system, you really need to take the issue back to the Online Geek Squad and have them fix what they broke.
