I found a small cardboard round tube, 12 inches long and 1 inch in diameter (similar to a paper towel but smaller round) with tiny holes at each end in my sons room. Any thoughts what this could be used for? He is a drug user. Thanks for your thoughts...

Sounds like a shotgun pipe. Used to blow smoke from one person to another. Referred to as "giving a shotgun".
