On Thursday I went to the ER for severe abdominal pain. They took an x-ray and said I had a lot of stool in my bowels as I've had no BM in 4 days. He ordered a cleanse of 17g miralax in 8oz water every hour until diarrhea starts then stop. I have now taken 7 doses and have had no results. Should I keep trying or is this a major problem and I need to go in to the ER?
