    Basement roughin finish
I finished putting in a basement rough in for a bathroom now it is time to cover the pipes I laid with cement. How do I do this. Do I cover the pipe with (sand or gravel ) then poor cement or will this create a sag where ever I poor the cement , or do I just poor cement in the cavity level with the rest of the floor...
    Any Help appreciated

Any link to information also appreciated

It is possible it could create a sag but you don't want to cover your pipes with concrete. The sag would not be very noticeable in any event. You could always do two steps. First cover the pipes with sand not dirt then pour your concrete to about 2" below the finish surface. let that green up a bit and then apply the final 2" top layer. It really isn't necessary just another way to do it. I most definetly would not cover my pipes with the concrete.
