Assalamu alaikum sir! My name is Zoya. I've a brother who is extremely cruel and cold-hearted. His behaviour with me, my brothers, my sisters and my parents is completely unacceptable and inhuman. He abuses us all, beats us up, uses cheap words for us but we can't do anything because of our parents ask us to forgive him no matter what he does, no matter how much he hurts us. They ask us to do whatever he says and our parents don't do anything to stop him so my question from you is that is it right for parents to sacrifice all children for just one son?Please tell me what should we do in this case? Your brother has obviously been lead to believe he can do nothing wrong under the eyes of god (and your parents). It is up to you and your siblings to direct his path and show him what he is doing is unacceptable. Turn the tables on him and treat him as he does you.

How old is he, and how old are you? Why do they excuse his behavior? Is he supporting the family, or is he favored as oldest son, or what, do you think?

This of course is your side of the story, without hearing parents side, or brothers side, no it is not correct and you have a duty to protect yourself and not allow this to happen.
