I think the title describes my situation pretty well. It was a very small amount (I estimate ~1/4 to 1/3 of an average line, but don't know how many mg that would be) of what must have been highly cut cocaine based on its minimal effect. I've read from several sources of varying credibility that one of the few weaknesses of HFTs is the detection of low-dose or infrequent use. Since my case is both low-dose and single-use, I'm hoping my odds are good. However, I've also read that cocaine is the most readily incorporated into hair of all the typically tested drugs, so that has me worried. Any anecdotal reports from people that have been in similar situations? Any expert input from roving professionals that search these threads for questions like thus to answer out of the kindness of their heart? That's you, DrBill100. Thanks in advance to all.

The hair follicle test is a test for habitual use. Single low dose will probably not show up and if it does it will be below the fail cut off for the test. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Thanks, Craven. I appreciate the input. I don't know if you have any knowledge of the matter, but the test was done by psychemedics, which I understand has lower cutoff levels than most. If you do know something about this, please share. Is it still unlikely to show up? Thanks again!

They sound like a thorough company, but the limits of the test would probably supersede that. Single use will probably show up, but it not as habitual use. Will it make a difference? Probably not. It will probably just be read as negative for use. The test is done and all you're doing right now is stressing about the outcome. It will come and you can't really do anything to calm your mind but hope you're negative.
