I am getting married in May. I have a daughter that I adopted from the foster care system as a single parent. My husband to be wants to adopt her. Does anyone know what are the steps to take? We would very much like it if he could adopt her the same day of the wedding if possible. We live in CA.

Sounds like a little too much to do on a wedding day, after you are married, have an attorney petition the court for his right to adopt the child, it should not be a problem.
