    Legal residency
    My husband came to live with me in the usa only has a valid
    B1/B2 visa. Can we file to get a grn card? Or what do we do?

    You guys should go though Adjustment of Status. File forms I-130, I-485, (and optionally but recommended also I-765 and I-131) together. Each form has many supporting forms and documents.
