I have to do a hair strand test next month, I've got a shaved head already and I'm worried about the armpit hair sample being taken, I was an occasional smoker of weed from August 2013 - September maybe had like 2-3 spliffs max , I did some MDMA around this time as well, the last time I smoked weed was in November 2013, and it was just one spliff shared, the hair is almost certainly going to be taken from my armpit , what are my chances of it showing the summer messy ones and that one off doubie in November ?

Also how effective is the armpit hair in showing alcohol intake ?

Same as any other hair... but be warned... shave off all your hair everywhere and they can and will assume you would have failed and that's why you did it.

A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample taken from the scalp will go back 90 days. Body hair has a cycle of growth then it goes dormant and so on so if you got a body hair drug test through my company the test result would say "body hair approximately one year time frame". It all depends of what type of hair test they use. If it is for employment they usually use the basic hair drug test that has higher cutoff levels which means you could do a small amount of drug and still be negative. At this point it is hard to say whether you will be negative or not. I think you are on the border. As far as alcohol in hair goes, not may labs test for alcohol in hair and it's expensive so I don't think I would worry about that.
