    Depo, pregnant?
I get a depo shot every 3 months. Last month I didn't get it for maybe 5 or 6 days because I wanted to get pregnant but decided not to. My husband and I had sex 3 days after my last shot. I didn't get the next one into 5days later. I took a pregnancy at the doctors office but it was to early to be positive. So could I be pregnant?

You could be pregnant, no birthcontrol is fool proof especially if you're delaying the shots. That being said it is a matter of probability at this point and the probability is extremely low in my opinion. Depo is a very... effective birth control; so much so that it usually takes a woman over a year off the shot to become fertile again. My ex-wife would go four months, not three, between shots. That was 10 years ago mind you, but we never conceived.

Since Depo prevents your periods from coming there isn't a way to judge whether you've missed a period. I wouldn't be too concerned about it, but you could take a test in a months time to ensure that you're not pregnant. Besides that, there isn't really a way to see if you're pregnant.

    Good luck.
