I was charged 5 years ago for possession of stolen property ( a license plate) and I have been avoiding going back within a 200 km. range ever since. Does a statute of limitations exist ? Will I always have a bench warrant out for my arrest ? I live in ontario and I would appreciate any help. THANK YOU

Warrant never expires, the statue of limitation applies only if you were not changed.

And of course they can come get you even over 200 km if they wanted to
