I am looking for the title of a book set in the fifties and it deals with racial integration of a Jewish and Black community as seen through the eyes of a young Jewish teenager. In the book a Jewish girl befriends a Black boy at a time when the two communities live in separate areas and have to hide their friendship from the adults. I thought the name of the book was the Changlings but I can't find it under that name.
