    Hello everyone,

    I have a question about EIN and wonder whether you can help me.

    I planned to hire an nanny for my baby so I applied for EIN in May, 2013. However, I did not hire anyone in 2013 because I could not find a right candidate.

    My question is that do I have to file any forms or do anything regarding the non-use EIN on my 2013 tax return?

    No, the EIN will just expire unused after a set amount of time.
