    New water line
Hi,I want to run an outside cold water line down hill about 180' in my yard to be used with a residential water pressure and for general clean up. My questions are: Do I use 1/2 or 3/4 pipe for the length of the run?If I should use 3/4 pipe, and connect to the 3/4 line in my home, will this cause any reduction in water pressure to the house appliances? Thanks for your helpSctim

I would use a 1" line for the run. Since you have failed to tell me either the source or how much pressure that resource will provide I cannot give you more information. Good luck, Tom

How many faucets or hose bibs do you plan to use at one time at the end of this line?

The water supply is from my household well. One floor 2 1/2 baths. I don't know the pressure. I would have a single faucet.

I'd run a 3/4 PVC line. Water pressure in house will not change any more than if you open a hose bib outside your house.

I agree with Harold. Run a 3/4 service. This should not affect your house pressure good luck, Tom
