    Need accuracy of conception please
Okay there is two possibilities for the father my due date is September 28th I went to the Dr Feb. 3rd 2014, did an ultrasound and it said I was 6weeks 1day, my OBGYN figured it up and said my conception was Jan 5th, there is a lot of people going back and forth with me telling there was two possible baby daddies, I need some help please I don't want to stress south because I'm high risk anyway but to not have much support it's so hard on me, one guy was from round dec. 20-22 and the other possibility started Jan 4th, please help me narrow this down, should I get another early ultrasound? And how accurate is the early ultrasounds, thank u so much!

Get a DNA test done after the child is born... the best guess Medical professionals can make has a plus and minus two week margin of error. If you slept with more than one guy during that period... they both have a chance of being the father.

The reason you are getting this is calculating conception is an inexact science. It can go 2 weeks either way. The only sure way is with a DNA test after birth.

Ultrasounds at 6 weeks are quite accurate--typically within 3-5 days. While not entirely impossible, it's very unlikely you conceived Dec 20-22. When was your LMP? Yes, you should get another ultrasound at around 8-9 weeks to confirm. Ultrasounds at 8 weeks are extremely accurate, but any done after 12 weeks are not as reliable because babies all grow at different rates!

If you're really concerned, you should speak with your OB about this and he/she should be able to reassure you.

How accurate are ultrasounds in determining the conception date to determine paternity?
Your healthcare provider will use hormone levels in your blood, the date of your last menstrual period and, in some cases, results from an ultrasound to generate an expected date of conception. However, many differences in each woman's cycle may hinder the accuracy of the conception date calculation. The viability of sperm varies as well, which means that intercourse three to five days prior to ovulation may result in conception. Ultrasound dating of conception is not reliable for determining paternity because the ultrasound can be off by at least 5-7 days in early pregnancy.

The issue is that, no amount of ultrasounds will give you the answer. The one you took will be the best guess for date.

But there is no exact "day" and while it seems like it is the second man, it is still possible to be the first. You will just have to get DNA test done, after child is born
